Weigh In-Week 1

This week has been disappointing. We have been so busy running around that I have not even had time to work out. It's really hard to do that when my husband is at home and when we are running all over town.

Well, the good thing is there was NO gain. The bad thing is -- there was NO loss. Maybe next week I will see some results as I finally get my act together and make a menu plan out for myself so I can keep track of my eating.

Goals For This Week

I have 2 major goals I am wanting to accomplish this week. So far, I have not done very well (been trying since Monday and this is already Wednesday).

1--I want to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. I realize on the days that I do drink enough water that my body is starving for water. So, I am hoping that I can get my water intake up so that I can begin having a healthier lifestyle.

2--My goal for working out to start with is at least 30 minutes of walking a day. My treadmill and I are becoming best friends this week--hopefully.

My other goal that I have is I want to start making menu plans that allow me and my family to have a healthier dinner and me to have a healthier breakfast and lunch.

It's Time to Stop Procrastinating

I have been wanting to do this for a while, but I just never felt like I could keep an online journal of my weight loss fight. I finally decided to bite the bullet and just do it.

I will be documenting my weight loss journey here every day--my thoughts, my feelings, my meals, my exercise, and everything. It's basically an online accountability so that I can lose the weight I need to.

So where am I at on the scale?


Today marks the beginning of a change for me. Change in my thinking and change in my lifestyle. Whether anyone wants to change with me or not, I will be changing.
